In the middle of Santa Claus Village, you’ll find 15 life-sized gingerbread cabins made for private daytime use. Right next to them, our walk-in restaurant invites you to taste Lapland through tasting-sized dishes and sweet treats.

You can order food and drinks straight to your cabin, leave your luggage safely, let children nap, change clothes, or simply enjoy a quiet break.

Next to the cabins, Piparina’s restaurant welcomes walk-in guests every day. Our tasting-sized portions let you build your own Lapland food journey: from reindeer and arctic fish to king crab and Finland’s traditional squeaky cheese. Finish with a sweet touch, like cloudberries or gingerbread filled with vanilla mousse.

Looking for a venue with a touch of Lapland magic? Piparina offers private event spaces unlike any other, from intimate gingerbread cabins to an atmospheric Lappish-style restaurant. Perfect for Christmas parties, milestone birthdays, company dinners, or even a Lapland wedding.

Exclusive Piparina Dining and Sauna Package

Enjoy a unique combination of relaxation and gastronomy with our season offer! The package begins with the Sauna experience followed by the dinner at our restaurant.

The package can be purchased on spot or making a reservation through Piparina front desk (sales@piparina.fi / +358 40 5757 805). The package is available every day from 14:00 onwards (last Sauna at 20:00).

Adult package 60€/person

  • Premium 3-course meal of your choice
  • 1-hour private sauna session
  • Fresh towels, shower essentials and refreshing water included

Kids package 30€/person

  • Delicious 2-course meal (a kid’s option of main course and a dessert)
  • 1-hour private sauna session.
  • Fresh towels, shower essentials and refreshing water included

Minimum booking of 2 people is required. Drinks can be ordered to Sauna or restaurant (not included in the package).

What is Piparina?

Piparina is something you won’t find anywhere else in the world (as far as we know) – a gingerbread village brought to life in Santa Claus’s hometown Rovaniemi. Opened in October 2025 by the local family-owned Snowhotel Family, Piparina is a place to rest, dine, and celebrate, all wrapped in the magic of gingerbread and Lapland traditions.
